Harrell Thomas – Communications Infrastructure An experienced and internationally recognized infrastructure implementation professional. Some key projects include: ü Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) International Airport Infrastructure Design & Implementation - Successfully directed 70 network designers, system engineers, and integration engineers during the requirement collection, design, integration and delivery of three large airport network sub-systems. Responsibility to program management was the timely delivery of the OSP cabling infrastructure, ATM network backbone, and Passenger Terminal Complex (PTC) LAN sub-systems which had a combined value of $54 million dollars. ü New York City Public School System Infrastructure Upgrade - responsibilities included planning, designing & hands-on project management of a large complex Harris Corporation 20/20 PBX/premise cabling infrastructure project for 125 schools within the New York City Public School System. ü Inchon International Airport Integrated Information Communications Systems - project included developing the software, sub-systems, and IICS integration, test and client acceptance philosophies for upwards of 30 subsystems and generating all required relevant documentation for a large-scale client/server environment. ü Dahran Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia Engineering & Construction – project included engineering and construction activities for the implementation of the communications systems conversion of power plants from crude oil to natural gas. Directed all activities and problem resolution for SCADA, LAN/WAN and Switching for this project and provide technical interface with clients project management team. ü FAA Voice Switching & Control System Upgrade - project engineering group lead for the Integration Group on the FAA’s VSCS program. Managed project engineers that supervised the site-specific design, A & E sub-contractor design and construction activities, manufacturing, integration & checkout, Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and Client Acceptance inspection (CAI) at the 20 largest FAA Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCCs). Responsible for overseeing all site specific activities required to complete the design, installation, hardware/software integration, production, SAT and CAI of the VSCS at two FAA ARTCCs. ü US Air Force Data Systems Modernization (DSM) – functioned as Hardware Technical in numerous classified and non-classified mission control complexes at the Air Forces satellite Control Centers in Sunnyvale, California and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Phase One Plus Engineering/Consulting - Activities included technical leadership in design, construction and commissioning of voice, data, video, electronic mail, electronic data interchange, point of sale, message switching and other systems. |
