The 2006 Nominating Committee

On behalf of the nominating committee and the NMBEIC leadership we welcome and thank you for your interest in serving on the National Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee. For your benefit we have posted the NMBEIC Positions Descriptions and Operating Guidelines. By submitting your name for any of the available elected positions you agree to the following:

• You have read and agree to be bound by and held accountable to the relevant Position Description
• You have read and agree to be bound by and held accountable to the NMBEIC Operating Guidelines
• You agree that you will in no way attempt to manipulate, slander or attack any other candidate - doing so will disqualify you from running this year.
• You understand and agree to comply to the nomination committee process rules and understand failure to complete this form or to submit your completed nomination by June 16 automatically disqualifies for participating in the 2006 nomination and election process.
• You understand that during the constituents meeting each candidate will have 5 minutes to present their respective platform after which a moderated (no comments or questions from the floor) Q&A session will occur allowing the NMBEIC to compare all qualified nominees responses in a side by side evaluation of his/her merits.
• If you plan to present to the body the only time you will be allowed to address them is during our constituent's meeting July 25-27 in CT.
